Yup. I've considered (on and off) getting an Apogee Duet for my portable setup for a while, but this one looks even better, with lots of options the Duet doesn't have and for approximately the same $.
Definitely keeping an eye on it.

the mixer looks way cool.
the basic breakout cable looks do-able...
and the breakout box option is really sweet.

Interesting! Babyface may have some serious competition.
Couldn't tell from MOTU's site whether the FX in Cuemix FX are done in hardware (onboard DSP/ASIC/FPGA chip) or need to run on connected host PC/Mac. Also curious about monitoring latency.

The only gripe I can think of is that the SPDIF input/output is Optical and not Digital. Still, a nice entry level product from MOTU that can take many inputs and record them simultaneously.
