Different EQ for different for parts of song

I have a song with that has different tones, dynamics and sounds in different parts.
What's the best way to have different eq's and different effects (compression, reverb, etc)
in different parts of the song?

You can automate eq, but it isn't instant because of aliasing.

You can copy tracks and have different eq styles on each track. Then cross fade between the two.

One way is to split the track/s and use clip effects to customize different sections of the song with different settings.

You may wish to try using grouping to do this across all the tracks.

Or use a buss with automation for changing the settings at different sections.

You can use volume automation to cross-fade between tracks.

John's idea is a good one too..
