Hi Guys,
I thought it was about time I posted a song mixed and recorded on my excellent SONAR DAW so here is my INSTRUMENTAL tribute to that great 70s / 80s rock band STATUS QUO. If you enjoy this, I'll post some more! Best wishes, Malcolm.

Hi Malcolm, I like it.  Good straight ahead boogie rock instrumental.  You've put Sonar to good use.  A bit off topic:  Looks like you have a lot of material on ReverbNation -- are you liking that site?  I put a profile up years ago but haven't really spent any time on it.

them drums is pretty good especially! I'll admit I'm not acquainted with the Quo. Seems like a rock'n'bluesy lot.

Mix-wise, you might bump the bass up a bit? Seems very guitar-centered throughout the whole song, sparkly with a nice tone! But I was wanting a little more low end. Was that what SQ sounded like?

nice playing!

cheers,
-Tom

I've only seen Quo about 4 times. Last time with original lineup. Great band. Will check later..

Great playing and great tone! The bass tone is great too, like to hear it a bit more but this is a fine mix!

For a modern mix it sounds a little narrow to me, but what would I know, thanks for sharing.
