Hi All,

I copied ctuner vst dll to cakewalk/vstplugins/ctuner and rescanned vst plugins and added an extra count to the number of plugins found. so I assume it found it.

I tried to find it under insert->soft synth->vst2   ....and nada

where is it?

Alternatively, is there any guitar tuner as a Prochannel plugin? (free or otherwise not expensive?)

ps: not interested in Peterson

thx in advance
Jim

why don't you use cakewalk's tuner?

Would it be in effects and not synths?
Don't know of a ProChannel tuner but all versions of TH2 include a tuner. I use GTune which is part of the free GVST bundle. MeldaProduction Free bundle includes a tuner.

Wasn't that dropped a while back?

I don't know if it was dropped as I have several versions installed and I think X3 still "sees" it.
I am not in front of my daw now. But have a try and check under cakewalk efx and not vsti.
I have been using other tuners for a long time now. My go to tuner now is from amplitude.
good luck.

Yeah, I don't think the tuner made it to the X series. I only have the X series installed and the CW tuner is not available. No big loss.

JimmyBoy, why don't you like Peterson? That is what I use in various forms.
