Hi Mark,

Listening to Psychic Safari as I type

Excellent guitar playing, yet again Mark. And a nice tune besides

I particularly like the guitar parts to the left and right, which really compliment the centre lead part... Excellent job!

cheers

I would have to say the most progressive piece that I've heard from you. Really interesting changes and very musical phrasing and superb emotive bends displaying great bending discipline. I like how it starts out a bit conservative with the opening progression, a touch of Jazz, the great phrasing and Jazz changes that follow really take you on an unexpected but delightful musical journey. Great tone and style

Thanks Grant.  The song started out as an arpeggio study on the new bass I bought - specifically the bass line during the chorus.  The verse was a progression I'd come up with years ago and the 2 worked perfectly together.

Hi Mark,

Glad you're back around these parts. Say, if you're not at the very least playing a gig or two out, you certainly could be. You definitely have that guitar nailed...a lot like batsbrew, you two have both the recording chops and the playing technique to go places. This is no exception . Wonderful!

Hi Tim, good to see you again.  Thanks for the compliment.  I was gigging pretty much every weekend for about 3 years, that's why I wasn't around here anymore.  I've got a herniated disk in my neck though and can't tolerate playing live anymore and lugging gear around.  Surgery coming up in Oct. Hopefully I'll be able to get back to playing live after that.

Hi Mark, nice one, interesting tune. Guitar tone is a bit dark, maybe just turn it up a bit more ; )
