I finally have a chance to start getting familiar with X2 Producer after using S3 and S6PE for the last decade......I tried several times yesterday to choose a metronome audio source file rather than a MIDI file (as per the instructions in the tutorial videos I just purchased). I located the folder where they are, but the drop down box in the metronome setup window is empty. I also get a message when starting X2 that MASTER.INS failed to load. The irony is that I've had this same problem with my earlier versions on a different machine. I had to upgrade my computer last summer and X2 finally had a machine with the specs to support it. How do I get the program to locate the folder with the metronome audio files in it???

Try holding the SHIFT key when opening SONAR. Do this should add the missing files to your user directory.
