After editing several vocal clips with Melodyne, does leaving them as RegionFX use up any additional CPU power while tracking other vocals?

I prefer to wait to bounce the clips until later, in case further editing is needed, but wasn't sure if any processing is going on each time those edited clips play or if they're frozen as stored data.

Unless something is archived, SONAR will process active tracks to some level even when not being "played" in case you turn them on during the playback.

I suggest, clone the track, archive it off (hide it if you like), and bounce the cloned track. Cheers.

Would freezing the track have the same result?

Never tried it (would frighten me to do this right now considering there is a bug when copying melodyne clips to other tracks undoes your work on the other track).
Cheers...
