mettelus: Thanks for that link on SSDs. I’m with you all the way on hardware compatibility and I believe I’m good to go. I had looked into this upgrade back in X2a era when touch was first implemented in a big way. My RME unit didn’t have drivers (does now). The deal breaker for me was my Arconis back up software, in a separate thread someone went through the steps to uninstall it and I gave up at that time because of it.
Maarkr: That’s quite the list! Thanks for taking the time to compile it. I work in a mid-size IT group so I will be giving my DAW to the hardware and setup folks…they always do me right.
c5: Thanks for the feedback. Looks like Pro it is, somehow I don’t think I’m going to go with 256G of RAM though
