make the clip a region fx - melodyne. (i have the stock one that ships w/sonar).
 
create a new midi track.
 
click-drag the clip to the midi track.

Yup, works for me too and on the OP's clip as well, couldn't be much easier, but he said this is not possible with the included version so I assumed it was because I have editor version, but it seems from your experience that it is possible after all.
 
@CPFC1985 The only extra step I had to do for your particular clip was to drag the midi data down to the right place on the drum map for the particular drum synth I used to test it. (lasso, then SHIFT / click drag)

Ahhhh, what a fool I am. Thanks guys, I had read elsewhere this functionality wasn't present, lesson learnt, don't believe everything you read! Will give this a whirl during the week

FWIW, what you don't get with the included version of Melodyne Essentials is the ability to drag & drop to a MIDI track using polyphonic detection - that's reserved for the Editor version. 
 

Melodyne worked for me too, but like some others i have Editor.  It should work in essential though since this is not polyphonic.  What I got in V-vocal was bizarre.  It assigned the hits to different pitches.
