Hey ja,

I'm having the same problem with 2 DMGAudio plugins. I'm going to try your "trick". I'm pretty sure this problem just started with X3d - but I can't be 100% sure.

forget about the reset thing - I've done it dozens of times now and it's just a PIA...

The real problem is that something has changed about how SONAR is handling plugins. I thought it was just me - but now I see that there are a few different plugins doing the same thing. I'm getting involved in all the threads, so I can hear if anyone finds a solution. Likewise, I'll let you know if I find one.

Oh well, it doesn't work here...

I have seen similar behaviour with the Plugin Alliance's Dynamic Spectrum Mapper - in all versions of Sonar prior to X3D, the DSM would not retain settings upon loading Sonar, however I noticed that with X3D it sometimes does retain the settings!

I had always thought it was an issue with the plugin itself and was in contact with tech support.  They told me they would work on it and that never happened, I contacted them after they updated the plugin as it still wasn't fixed and they basically brushed me off.  I don't think the DSM is VST 3.
