Hello, I kinda need some suggestions on a problem that I'm facing. Probably need some recommendations on gear too. Anyway, I'm using a Toneport UX2 to run loops/click track to my drummer and back to the FOH. Since it broke down, with the knobs being wobbly and all, I've decided to invest in a new interface. I'm thinking of not going big on the interface as I have my priorities set on my own studio so a budget of under $150 would suffice for me. Any recommendations on which to get? I would need it to have 2 outputs with maybe an input for triggering purposes and also, if possible, low latency drivers. I'm looking at the Steinberg C1 for now. Anyone used that before? Many thanks in advance.

How about

It fits your budget, and if the only difference is less input compared to the Scarlett l8i6, it should give you good latency.

More about the l8i6 here :

Hello, Appreciate the thought about the Scarlett 2i2. I loaded my local Focusrite distributor store here in Singapore and it retails for around $225. Anyway, I'll keep that in mind but I've found out several alternatives. Lexicon Alpha USB - SGD129 : http://www.prodipe.com/en...item/294-studio-22-pro Prodipe Studio 22 - SGD85 : http://www.musiciansfrien...sktop-recording-studio Both is in my price range and fulfills the inputs/outputs that I need. However, the only difference between them is that the Lexicon Alpha USB runs on USB 1.1 I've read somewhere that you should stay away from USB Interfaces running on USB 1.1, is it really bad? Hopefully, you guys could shed some light on this little problem of mine. Many thanks again for the response tomixornot!
