There are key combinations on the MCU that have no function.  In this case I am speaking to the M3+Loop button and the M4+Loop Button combo.

Reaper's key binding feature will actually pick up these combos and interpret them as "Midi Chan 12 CC85" and "Midi Chan 8 CC85."  At that point you can assign them to a command.  Reaper calls them actions.

I am wondering if if would be possible to hack some configuration file and assign these key strokes to Set From as Now Time and Set Thru as now time.

I would be really cool if Cakewalk would develop their key bindings feature to be as powerful as Reaper's but I know Hell will freeze over before that will happen.

Not that I'm aware of, but I agree it would be nice to have. Some of the more obscure functions don't work since X1either and even prior to that the automated mute option has never worked.

Perhaps put in a FR, I think they are probably sick of mine.
