love it. That said, I'll buy you a beer if you change the drone chord to the 4, leave it there for a while, then bring it back to the one. Give it a little "amen" feel.
 
One time I drank a lot of Coronas, with lime, to ward off the scurvy. But I digress.

I'm not entirely sure what you meant by "drone chord to the 4..." Do you mean that I should drop the level for a bit, and then bring it back in?

If the whole song occurs in E major, what about a few minutes in, change the drones and the guitar scale meandering up to A major. then later, back to E major, and yer done.
 
If "E" is the 1 on an 8 note scale, then the 4 is "A" . . . please excuse me for thinking of music as a number line but it helps my simple mind sometimes!
 
It's just an arrangement idea, feel free to totally not do that! Your piece has cool qualities as is. Keep up the good work . . .

Dude...  nice!   "Soothing" is an apt description.    But it's still interesting too, so I'm assuming you kept the right noodling parts.       

yeah, I know, I know, it's a drone and one chord will certainly do the trick! But I'm just thinking of all the folks listening to this song on peyote - which is most of them of course - and a change of chord would blow their minds. Soooo deeep and spiritual! And then, wait for it - - - change it back. Aaaaah!
 
C'mon, Synkrotron - have a chord change - for the children . . . think of the children . . .
 
OK, this is not my song, Synkrotron knows what he is doing . . . it's great the way it is . . .  back to my hole now. Long live the drone!
