Great tune, really clever use of rhythmic sounds to evoke the feeling of the ride. I like the shift to a more somber but still uplifting feel at the end, and I loved how the guitar-ish rhythmic theme reasserted itself under the high synth. Just a nice composition, thanks for posting it!

@ Andy - The train you hear is just one sample, which I layered with a reverse cinematic sound to give the impression of going through a tunnel. It was grabbed from freesound.org 
 
@Kevin - Thanks, I must admit this is probably the biggest mix challenge I have had to date with so much going on. I think I mixed the song 3 or 4 times from scratch before I got to a stage that I was happy with it.

Ah... funny you should mention that because that's where the sample came from for my latest piece of work

I knew the type of sound I was after but couldn't find anything in my current library. Freesound is always a good source for that unusual sound that you need.

I liked this. Very energetic and melodic. I liked the "reverse cymbal" sound about midway that signaled a bit of a change, nice touch. Very good job of layering all the different sounds, a lot going on here, must have been a challenge to mix.
I know it's a train song but it would be good for driving, too.

Sweet Kraftwerkian stuff. Love the high hats bouncing around the edges. I'd say that high lead synth got a little tiring, maybe switch it out for a real guitar lead? or?
