I guess I'll find out soon enough.

Had $75 in coupons so Tilt EQ is now mine for $24.

Tilts are great for taming or accentuating los and highs in smooth musical ways. They are not surgical tools.

Ed, you're incorrigible.

By buying tilt EQs you're just encouraging manufacturers by confirming what they already suspect about our bottomless gullibility! Let's sell them an EQ with two bands, and convince them that it does something totally different from their 6-band EQs. Then we'll lock the two bands together, make them exclusively shelves, and hardwire their slopes to make it, um, more "musical".

Of course, I'm just letting my curmudgeon out for the evening. Enjoy your tilting filters.

No, it is not. See definition #4.

1. not corrigible; bad beyond correction or reform
2. impervious to constraints or punishment; willful; unruly; uncontrollable
3. firmly fixed; not easily changed
4. not easily swayed or influenced, e.g. an incorrigible optimist

Ah, but the joke's on them! I bought it, but I have intention to succumbing to the false allure to use it!

I'll show them!

I was trying to be "nice" in my above definition. But Bit, bless his heart, cut to the chase. While they are occasionally surprisingly useful, you already have more than enough eq tools to do the job. But I'll have to admit, turning a single knob and getting pleasing results is dang gratifying.

Yup I'm a knob

I just used it on two tracks, so I feel vindicated.

But if I tilted one one way and the other the other way, would it cancel them out?
