Is too often overlooked. For a lot of people, he's the quiet guy who stood next to Bonham's drum kit and played bass.

I've finally had the chance to see him a few years ago when he played in Quebec with Them Crooked Vultures. A giant!

I was thinking about him and his contributions to Led Zepplin last night. He played the right thing at the right time. Great player and musician

“I have not yet begun to fight.” - Not so much as a bass player but a really good sailor!

JPJ is a giant ,that´s sure.
Saw him as well  with  TCV 09 and in 82 with Zep,
the best concerts in  my live.

I knew he did the orchestral arrangements for REM but I did not know he produced The Butthole Surfers.

Independent Worm Saloon was one of my favorite albums back then. It was a few years before I realized that the producer was actually that John Paul Jones.

He was the glue that held Zepp together for me. I think he allowed the band to expand and evolve while many other Brit blues bands got stale and burned out. MVP for sure.
