Hi.  So I followed the instructions in another post, added the drum map file for AD, but it won't appear with the AD synth.  I can add the maps for Session Drummer, they appear.  Everything seems good, I've placed the file in the proper place, and I click 'new' and get DM1, then in the drop down file there's the AD drum map file. 
 
Not certain what's going on here?   Help?  Oh yeah, I'm using X3 Producer with the 4th update.

Instead of opening the "Drum Map Manager" and selecting New, use the "New Drum Map" option in the MIDI output drop down and select the AD drum map from the list of options.

Ahhhhh  Thank you SOOOO much I probably never would have found that.  Saved me SO much headache.

The name is too common but the story I was told was my parents name choice was overridden by a priest and I never had a chance to thank him.

I have stopped using drum maps in Step Sequencer a year or so back, due to editing issues, which had been followed by an email from someone in support who told me they did not intend for folks to use drum maps in step sequencer.
 
I do not know it that was an official position from them on this, but I do know that all of the editing nightmares I was having went away the moment I got rid of drum maps in SS.
