What does this elusive Offset tool look like?

The button labelled K.

I can't swear to it 'cos I don't have it installed any more but I'm fairly sure that the offset button in the mix module wasn't in X1, re-introduced in X2 (not X3 as I first thought).

I remember thinking that it was going to be much easier to realise I was in offset when I saw it back. Anyone confirm my thoughts?

It looks like you are correct. Here's a screenshot that I found by googling:

I can't see an Offset Mode button anywhere on the toolbar.

Same here - the only reference I can find for Offset Mode in X1 is the "O" keyboard shortcut.

Konrad, perhaps it would be better to assign Offset to an unused modifer + letter combination instead of completely unbound, that way at least it's accessible!

Bit of an irony here. As soon as someone finally wants to use this overlooked facility, it turns out that he has the only version that doesn't include it.

Thanks for the picture!  That's great.

Correct, I do not have this in X1.  Currently, I am entering Offset mode to check a project and ensure all Offsets are null.  Then I disable the O key and mix the project.

Before I start the final mix of the next project, I enable O once again to check.

Obviously on new projects this won't be an issue unless the ghost in my machine turns offset on while I'm sleeping.
