Good point, still have to decide on which of the three uprights to choose. I'm inclined to pass on the original one, but also on the newest Small Upright, as it has some key quirks and light bass that wouldn't let it shine on its own. So this would push me towards the Vintage one. Unless TT launches the ultimate upright next month.
So I had a listen and found Vintage a bit thin sounding. Back to the Small Upright then, as it seems more musical, more rounded, yet with less resonance in the lower keys.
I don't know, BD, should I really go for a Toontrack upright? As Glyn says, we can use the TT songwriting features with any other upright, including Sampletekk, XLN or that sweet Fluffy Audio one I have to get sometime soon.
So there it is, cherishing two expansion serials and nothing to choose.
String Machine maybe, lots of presets there. James to the rescue?
If only Edith were here to help me.
