I think this is like the fifth time I've tackled the entire series in under a decade and it still makes me audibly guffaw multiple times per episode.
 
Man, Hartman was one hilarious mofo (not to mention the rest of the cast).

One of my all-time favorites. I haven't seen it in decades but I still remember lines from it.
 
WKRP in Cincinnati, that's another one worth revisiting.

20 years ago...that freaks me out now..it was only the mid '90's, that's like yesterday. When I was a boy, 20 years ago was World War 2!

thanks beepster! they are all on youtube too in the 'jon stick' account. i used to love just shoot me but after watching a couple of these I think newsradio is even better :) 

My favorite was the one where Phil Hartman was doing the advertisements for Rocket Fuel malt liquor. "Rocket Fuel makes your feet staaaank!"

I liked News Radio but in my mind it kind of gets mixed up with another show which ran around the same time and was was set in the offices of a fashion magazine, I think it was called Just Shoot Me and had David Spade in it as well as a very hot girl with a nice set of you know whats. I think her you know whats are probably what made it memorable and unfortunately the memory has gotten tied up somehow with News Radio, which was a lot funnier. 

Good to see so much comedic taste around here. I could blather quite endlessly about NR but I for now I'll just say...
