hi everyone and happy new year.
somehow my inspector is split, what I mean is one strip is normal however the other shows part of the track view. I would like to submit a picture but I don't know how, when I open "attach image" there is a place for URL. I have it on my desk top can someone tell me how to insert it here.

You have to post your picture to a web site like photobucket , dropbox, skydrive, google drive or I guess even facebook might work. You then go to the picture and right click to select the ULR

The upstream/downstream Inspector layout didn't show up until X1, so I think this is in the wrong forum...? You might want to add your SONAR version to your signature.
 
There was a bug with X1 that would cause this when a project was opened with the Inspector locked to a bus. I don't recall whether this was fixed in a later release of X1 or in X2, but I believe it's no longer a problem.
