A friend of mine, who is also a co worker, just informed me the other day that he had finally bit the bullet and upgraded from X1 to X3.  I told him that he was gonna be really glad that he did.  Will be much easier for us to work on projects together too...since he lives over in the next town.

I am also very pleased with x3!!!  I was a layer guy but now see the light.  Being able to click a clip and hear it over the other takes is a great time saver.  I am quickly getting comfortable with the new workflow!!!  A the color options rock and I'm color blind.  I am close to finishing the writing phase of my first song.   I look forward to mixing and mastering as always in Sonar!

I can crash anything... ya ever heard of those kinda people????  I've spend years diddling around, making changes...from Sonar 5 up... it makes creating music difficult and really craps all over artistic inspiration...combine that with a less than rigorous personality...and I've done way less songwriting than I wanted...
 
Has this changed? Yes... Have I crashed X3? Yes!  was I doing stupid stuff? YES!!!!!!!!!
 
But, for the first time in a real long time, I'm having fun; I'm able to let artistic inspiration flow and I'm learning all the amazing tools which actually work...
