I would think yes, that something changed in X3 that the 3rd-Party plug-in makers may not be appraised of yet, but hopefully that will be ironed out soon. I assume Cakewalk has an outlet where 3rd-party plug-in developers can access specific VST2/3 information and what changes have been made that *could* affect the use of such plugins.
I don't have issues with DMG Compassion, but only EQuality and EQuick, both of which are DMG's earlier plug-ins. But I'm also using VST3 versions of those.
EQuality and EQuick simply crash the VST Scanner literally every time. Or rather, the VST Scanner chokes and crashes when trying to scan EQuality and EQuick.
