I think comparisons of Addictive Drums to Session Drummer 3 are not quite apples to apples. They are very differnt kinds of programs despite both being for drums. Overall I would give AD an overall advantage but there are things it cannot do like import your own samples. In any case I think it is better to think of AD as an in addition to rather than replacement. To answer the original question, whether it is worth it depends on what plugs you own or plan to buy. If you are already planning on buying something alomg the lines of native intruments komplete then it is probably not worth it. If you dont have a lot of plugs and none are on your radar it is more than worth it

Yes I have no plugs or instruments other than the ones with studio and the ones on my piano. So getting the Producer ones added should be a good addition now that I know how to use synths.

I'm enjoying how much easier and better the synths are to use compared to when I was trying to record everything live through my Piano. Never again, that was just a terrible experience and made it too frustrating.

Rapture, Ad, dimesoion pro and z3ta cover a lot of musical ground.
