My trouble ticket sent to NI:

I upgraded to Sonar X3d.  I noticed that the sound icon is missing.   This is the button used to solo the drums with your mouse.  Very useful to hear a single drum to adjust the  sound.

Also, the animation of the drums playing does not work.  This is not important but I thought I would mention it as it may have something to do with the solo button.

Hi, I'm using the 70s Drummer with X3d as well but I can't reproduce your issues here.
Below is the steps I just took:

1. Load the Normal project template in X3.
2. Load Kontakt 5 Player (audio + MIDI).
3. Load the "AR70s Open Kit Full" factory preset.
4. Record a drum take in the MIDI track.
5. Click the "Options" tab of the Abbey Road Drummer and enable "Show Trigger States."
6. Switch back to the "Kit" tab and play the MIDI track. (the animation works all right)
7. Switch to the "Mixer" tab. (the solo buttons are displayed all right)

Btw, I don't know where the "sound" icon is located.

Please go to NI service centre and update your plugins. After that please RESET your plugins and then rescan them (regardless). Thanks.

You guys are awesome!  Jlien and Alex.  I was referring to:
"TRIGGER ON MOUSE CLICK"
I downloaded the update a week ago or so but I didn't open the program to see the changes. There use to be a little speaker icon in the upper left corner of kit view (see pic  http://www.native-instrum...d-60s-drummer/).  When clicked, you trigger the kit piece with your mouse.   I didn't remember seeing the options for TRIGGER ON MOUSE CLICK and SHOW TRIGGER STATES because they weren't there before.  Thanks.

The link was dead but I assume this is what you mean:

OK I checked this. Definitely a Native Instruments Plugin issue not Cake.
The workaround is to click the "Keyb" icon at the top.
There is a SOLO and a MUTE button above the Plugin's main title.

I would go on Native Instruments Forums for this.
Thanks..

Alex,
The problem IS solved.  Go to the options tab under the drum kit.  TRIGGER ON MOUSE CLICK and SHOW TRIGGER STATES are new to the latest version of AB 60's/70's.  Those options weren't there before the latest update.  Thanks.
