just a heads up, but even with "enable midi output" unchecked on the insert synth options aria player is loading consistently with midi output enabled.  curious.

Interesting. I tried inserting Aria with "enabled midi output" checked and unchecked. Neither worked for me. But will check again tomorrow.

For your info on the Garritan Aria Player VST Multi not loading all outputs in Sonar X3 Producer:
 
I have reported this issue to Garritan product support on Oct 17, and have been working with their customer support person (Jonathon) since then. I quoted to him Noel's response above regarding "audioMasterGetProductString". It seems that Jonathon was not aware of this issue. After providing him with various information and some screen shots showing the other output channels grayed out in the Aria player, yesterday Jonathon said that he will do his best to report this as a bug to the development team.

I received a response from Jonathon at Garritan/MakeMusic Customer Support today saying that they are working with Cakewalk to try to get a fix.

Folks seem to be happy with this response but I'm not.  Just upgraded from X2 to X3, but I'll be sticking to X2 until this is fixed.  ...Always worked before from version to version.  Likely other things won't work as well and I've already wasted time on this one.  A warning should be in the release notes.
 

Hi, this was fixed for me in Sonar X3d 64 bit, with Aria Player 1.62. I now get all the Aria Player outputs generated when inserting the synth and specifying all synth outs.

Feel free to update to X3 now even though it was waiting on a fix from Garritan.
