Sorry soens, I'm not seeing that here, seems like a graphics problem. Any change to your GFX card or driver recently?

Steve, what version of Windows are you running? It seems you have some scrolling behavior setting set to minimize graphic usage (either in Windows or X2).

The only thing that comes to mind offhand is in Win7... Go to Start, type in "perf" and select "Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows" The first page that pops up is default windows appearance (which it will apply to ALL windows open unless overridden by the program). Try enabling all of them ("Adjust for Best Appearance" at the top) and see if this helps you... the ones that stick out in that list are "Fade or slide menus into view" and "Fade or slide ToolTips into view"

I cannot remember when those settings "take" so you may need to close reopen X2. See if that helps any.

I am glad Jlien X jumped in here! I never even thought to check X2, I am sorry.

Edit: I just ran through X2's preferences and do not see anything "obvious" in X2 (Preferences->Customization->Display/Colors) to override Windows, so am assuming that you have a global Windows setting that is causing this behavior.

Thanks for the tips... still nothing tho. I should add that this is on an HP ENVY i7 Windows 7 laptop with AMD Radeon graphics if that matters.

I may try installing X2 on my WinXP desktop to compare.

If you do that, try testing it both before and after you install the X2a update.

Solved it! It was a Windows display setting. The main text size was set to "Medium - 125%" (default).

When I changed it to "Smaller - 100%" I can now see the PRV Track Info Text, tho it sure makes the rest of Windows hard to read.

1. Right-click desktop
2. Click "Personalize"
3. Click "Display"
4. Under "Make it easier to read..." click "Smaller - 100%"

I guess I can still say X2 was designed this way since X1 and prior are not affected by it.

You would think the default setting would work but not in my case.

What's funny is if I select "Larger - 150%" I get a warning that says "Some items may not fit on your screen if you choose this setting..."

So do the rest of you use the default setting?

I just checked mine and it says "Smaller - 100%" is the default, which I use.

I will add that since I use a 17" monitor @ 1920 x 1080 I will keep it set to 125% and just live with it.

Then again, since previous Sonar versions have no issues with it I may submit a "bug" report anyway.

Thanks all!

Hi Steve, have you tried running SONAR using an external monitor, or even a TV? That is an option to give you more physical real-estate for the same screen resolution.

You bet! At home I use a 24" monitor with the laptop. But on the road it's just me an' the ol' 17 incher.

Even with the 24 I still need the 125%.
