Anyone using Scratchpad yet?

I don't have it yet, but have played with it. It's kind of like "Propellerheads' Figure on steroids meets Matrix View." It's lots of fun, and apparently in addition to the existing content you can bring in files from Dropbox although I didn't get a chance to try that. It's only $7.99 [Edit - checked the app store, it's $4.99] ...I might take a trip to the app store in the next day or two.

Hello, I have tried to use it. What I mean is, I got it when it first came out, and I thought it was a good start...then they came out with an update very quickly after it's release..."wow, great, they really are serious about this thing!"...well, the update has made it worse. How so? Because when I load samples in it now, it says that the files are too long. WTF? It is a shame, and I am still waiting for this to be resolved...unfortunately, there is NO obvious way to contact tech support or the equivalent to bring this situation to light with the programmers in hopes of getting it resolved. Pretty disappointing really, as I have always been a fan of Cakewalk and consequently happy to have supported them over the years through the purchase of their fine products.

I've got it but haven't used it too much. I don't get the above problems so don't know what that's about.

It's not so intuitive to use and I find I can't delete things, but I'm sure I'll get there.

Hello...ok, it seems to work fine when importing via Dropbox from MoDrum and Easybeats 3 WAV. recordings...so now I think it has something to do with the files originating from DM1

-by the way, if you want to delete a cell that you've loaded a file into, just hold that cell for a moment and then drag it out of the matrix (to the left side or up)

So far it looks like the Novation Launchpad app (when updated to the latest version which permits user content) is the way to go

What is it? I see it in the App store- $6.99. What do you do with it? Any integration with Sonar? I bought Garageband, and that thing is not very useful. I got to record Chorus with it and the sound of passing by train while I was waiting for it to pass so I can drive over rail track... but I see no actual use for it.

Did somebody says- it compatible with Novation Launchpad, or that Launchpad is better? I have Launchpad. Same problem: no way to get sound out of it. If I could run this thing as a VST plug in with Sonar, it would be great, without it- e-mailing my tracks to myself and then importing or uploading to Dropbox is kind of childish- I have no time for it. So what is it good for? Thank you.
