  • Can We Still Edit MIDI in Track View?

I have almost never used this feature though I did play with it long ago...

...and today I thought to try it again, but it doesn't seem to be available?

It used to become editable on it's track in TV simply by dragging the clip contents zoom... It no longer seems to do this...

I found most of the time I was uncomfortable using this, but it is handy on occasion to line up a MIDI event with an audio cue...

Anyone have any info on this feature?

Thanks Keni

It's the inline PRV you're looking for. Here you go.

Thanks twoifbysea...

That was it! I guess I haven't used it since before the Event Editor which I was (and am) still so sore about.

Hi Keni,

To sum up the link above:

You can double click a MIDI clip to open the PRV.

You can also edit MIDI notes right in Track View by clicking the Track Pane "Clips" button and selecting "Notes". Then you can enlarge the notes by dragging the clip contents zoom OR stretching the track down and out.

Thanks guys...

I use MIDI and the PRV all the time... I also know about the default change menu... Thanks for the reminders... I was really just wondering if inline was still available as I haven't had need of it in a long time... Since before the edit filter so I didn't even think to look there...

Thanks...

Happy New Year!
