  • Why do use JBridge over BitBridge??

I've probably asked this question before but if you use JBridge instead of BitBridge....why??  It's been my experience that I haven't found a single plugin (and I've got tons) that runs better under JBridge than BitBridge.  I know everyone's system is different tho so what exact plugins "require" JBridge over BitBridge.  And/or what functionality do you gain using JBridge instead of BitBridge.  Genuinely curious.

I like the fact that with jBridge the plugin isn't always on top and that you can save presets. Also, I have noticed that particular plugins work better with it, e.g. Auto-Tune 7.

I wasn't able to run Pushetc on a 64 bit system with bitbridge but it works with jbridge..

I can't stand bitbridge "always on top" which is may main reason, second up is that the preset arrangement is much easier for saving loading, thirdly - it sure is pretty compared to bit bridge - maybe that should be my main reason.

I didn't know about the "presets" thing.  Hmmmm.

I like the availability of the Step Sequencer, ACT and other buttons with JBridge which are lost with BitBridge. Much more convenient in my view.

Some of my vsts just would not work correctly under Bit Bridge, Drumagog, the Korg Legacy Suite. These are go-to plug-ins for me especially Drumagog.

Synplant, microtonic, IL Sawer & IL Vocodex don't work with bitbridge, barely (and i mean BARELY) work w/ jBridge

I had better system performance using jBridge with Waves 7.  I also had some GUI issues with the Wave plugins with BitBridge that were handled better with jBridge.
