For many years I have used a 2 monitor setup.
My current system has 2 monitors connected to the card via DVI.
Now I just got a new DAW with a Radeon HD7750 card that has 1 DVI, 1 HDMI and 1 DP output ports.
I just got 2 LG LED 27" monitors. Can I connect one via DVI and one via HDMI?

Yes, that's how my card is connected and no issues or problems.

Some cards do not allow concurrent use of both HDMI and DVI.  It depends on the manufacturer.
 
ALL cards I am aware of do allow use of VGA with either HDMI or DVI.
 
You also may be able to have one plugged into your on-board graphics and the other into the video card, which would allow 2 HDMI connections, depending on the on-board capabilities.
