Thanks... still here, still tired. She got up for maybe an hour and a half today. Pain put her back in bed. I got the Falcons game on the computer and went and we watched it in the bed. No TV in the bedroom, only one TV in the house. That reminds me, back in the early/mid 90s I put the TV in the storage shed for over a year. The kids played games and made do. Surprisingly, they remember the time fondly.
This has been hard on her. I do all I can but feel a bit helpless... but I'm here.

Sounds like you're doing the right thing to me.  Do you guys ever play any games together like backgammon or cribbage?  Something like that (or Crazy 8's or Dominoes) could be a fun distraction (and distractions definitely help!).
 
Keep strong for both of you! 

Roses?  Mosh you're a creative talent.  Do you really believe straight womyn like roses!  They like daisies and black eyed susans and creative gifts.  Just a tip from my queer eye for the straight guy

I know a little of what you are going through, after 8 weeks of radiation 4 years ago, I dropped 70 pounds and didn't have the strength to get to the bathroom or walk around for about 3 months. My petite little wife soldiered through it all as she helped me from room to room :)
