How much advertising will the American public accept? That limit is still unknown.

I read recently that on broadcast TV, 14 minutes of every hour is devoted to ads. On cable TV, it's 17 minutes. If it was fruit juice, nobody would want it, because it would be too watered down.

In French there's a word "publiphobe," meaning averse to advertising. Plenty of French people describe themselves that, but I guess not many Americans.

That is about right I timed it not long ago and I remember what I got was a little under 20 minutes of ads in an hour... I really need to find something to do..

I can't think of anything PC to say... I guess I'm a sexist, but I'm not, I'm just a white guy so anything I might say would be wrong... even this is wrong isn't it? Eh.. should I apologize or perhaps I could get Bill to apologize for me! Yeah THAT!
