Hi everyone,

thanks again for your feedback! I tried to do an advanced install of sonar x2 producer but couldn't find an(y) audio plugin named v-vocal ... there's been lots of plugins but none that reminds me of v-vocal. Is it part of R-Mix?

@noynekker: Can you please describe how you've made v-vocal work for you? Did you also have crashing issues before you installed v-vocal?

@jscomposer: win7x64, 8gb RAM, samsung ssd, Intel processor (i guess q6600)

Hm. Just tried to watch the Event Viewer to see what happens when Sonar crashes - and guess what, it doesn't crash anymore. I have absolutely no idea why, I haven't performed any update. It seems to be stable with x2 files as well. Maybe I scared X3 when I perfomed the X2 installation ;)

Anyway. Thanks a lot for your help! I'd still love to install v-vocal, maybe noynekker can still provide a short description?

Thanks and Merry Christmas to everyone!
Chris

As I wrote above, V-Vocal is not a separately installable component. To get V-Vocal, the basic program must be installed. This can be done using the advanced install options and de-selecting everything but the SONAR program itself.

V-Vocal is part of the Sonar program itself. R-Mix should appear in the custom installation listing.

Am I assuming correctly that you re-installed X2 Producer?

Ah, I see, sorry. I thought you wanted me to install nothing within the advanced installation but V-Vocal.

I will not install X2 as I don't want to "irritate" X3 somehow (on my newly set up computer).

Thanks a lot for your help and support, I really appreciate it!
Have a great new years eve and all the best for 2014!!
