  • How to scroll Track View with keyboard?

I think I'm going to wear my mouse out doing drum transient editing and was looking for the keyboard shortcuts to scroll Track View left/right using the keyboard. I read the Help file and it says the left/right arrow keys (on the numeric keypad) will scroll, but it seems to get stuck easily. Haven't figured out what is going on there yet.

What I really want is a keyboard shortcut that is the equivalent of clicking to the left or right of the horizontal scroll bar "thumb" which causes the track view to move by an entire screen width in one click. I have RTFM, but can't seem to find this...

And a Merry Christmas to everyone!

Not exactly what you want but I use alt+left or right to move by measures.

Check out nudges...

Nudge moves data in the track not the same as scrolling the track view. Binding the "Go to" functions or creating CAL scripts for larger scrolling movements are the only solutions that I know.

I found my solution which turned out to NOT be the answer I was looking for: TAB.

The TAB key moves to the next transient marker (shift-TAB goes backwards). This is so much easier than clicking hundreds of times in the scroll bar to page.
