OK, I've taken all your ideas and this is what I came up with.  I cleaned up the vocorder and added a very subtle flanger that follows it.  I added a touch of delay to the sax part during the guitar solo and panned it left.  I'm just getting to know the vocorder, and it's fun to play with and easy to overdo.  Again, I can't thank you all enough.

Yeah,  think the new mix does sit a little better, particularly the mids of the effected vocals.
 
Oh, did I mention this is a really cool song?   After hearing it again I think it's one of your best, hands down.
