For a limited time only and just for the fun of it I put this song out on SoundCloud.

But I warn you it's weird ... this guy wrote an odd story, and asked me to do the music ... and I reckon I surprised him with the oddness I added ...

Can anyone get the meaning of the story, the music should tell it all ;-)

Well... The title appears to suggest it's about synchronised swimming.

Other than that I'm stumped.

Definitely a bit mad... Sounded like it was fun to do

well, it's about synchronised swimming by just one boy, the only contestant at a local competition held at the fire brigades water reserves pond ...

It's a great tune, unfortunately the language is beyond me. Having said that, upon first listen I wanted to hear more (read louder) of the vocal as this seems to be the crux of what is happening. Having said that, I did enjoy the quirky tempo and instrument choice. This is my kind of music, lots of fun and character.

OK, that was a trip...

Quirky, uh yeah, definitely.   But a well done version of quirky.   It made me smile a few times just by the pure virtue of it's unexpected turns.  And even though I didn't understand a word of it I didn't really care - it's so nicely mental.

Madness! the crowd appears to like it as well. thanks for the share. it's the Ertleburg Duo, but there's three of them. zer goot.

Anyone else have some cool German versions of actual English songs? I have a nice version of "Ring of Fire" sung in German that's pretty mental.

proust!

unfortunately impossible to translate without losing too much but as I said above ... it's about synchronised swimming by just one boy, the only contestant at a local competition held at the fire brigades water reserves pond ... of course he wins, but it's still a thrilling experience ;-)
