I have Firefox as an alternate. I haven't explored Opera, yet. No interest in Edge....
My wife uses Chrome (?)

If you are running win 10 its likely you are running Edge not IE. You could have made that your default though.

I've been using Firefox since before version 1. It's my daily driver. Opera has been sold to the Chinese, if that matters to you. I have privacy issues with Google, so I mostly only use Chrome on Google sites.

Internet Explorer is hidden away in Windows 10. Right-click the "Start" button, click Run, then type iexplore and press enter. Once you have IE running, right click its icon down on the taskbar and choose "Pin to taskbar" if you want an easier way to launch it.

I am aware, that I am in fact, still using IE and Firefox, when I get pissy with IE. I passed on Edge. LOL
I know that I'll have to give it up, but have no intention of getting close to the edge! I have only a passing awareness of Chrome. If Firefox had easier favorites, like IE, I wouldn't bother "shopping".

PS I have short cuts for them on my desktop, too.

I find Firefox bookmarks easier to use than IE's favorites, but to each his own.

Another tip...

For me, the menu bar is hidden in IE by default, so you can either hit the Alt key to bring it up or unhide the menu bar (right-click up top by the tabs/title bar).

Edge is a mess but MS is pushing it hard and pushing IE out. One has to take proactive action to get rid of Edge. Go into Settings and set all your defaults to the proper program. Then when win10 updates you'll probably have to do it all over again.

I like IE but remember when it 1st started it was a mess 2. Eventually MS will get it straight and Edge will replace IE forever.
