  • SONAR X2 crashes ever since I uninstalled m-audio keystation 88es

I unplugged my m-audio keystation 88es from SONAR today because I sold the keystation.  SONAR asked me if I wanted to remap the keystation's midi elsewhere and I answered "no" because I have a Roland Edirol PCR-800 connected which I'm keeping.

I closed SONAR X2 Producer, rebooted, uninstalled the m-audio keystation driver, and fired up SONAR X2 again.  Ever since I removed the keystation, SONAR X2 Producer crashes every 5 minutes and requires a reboot to start up again.  The crash occurs even if I let SONAR X2 Producer sit idle.

My workstation and DAW was always rock solid and stable up until I removed the m-audio keystation 88es earlier today.  I'm concerned that I have a brick until this issue gets resolved.  Pls advise.  Thanks!

Thanks again!

Please rename your AUD.INI file. Thanks...

I renamed my AUD.INI file to AUD_TBD.INI and was able to run SONAR X2 Producer without crashing.  Thank you.  Will run SONAR for several hours tomorrow.  If it doesn't crash, then the AUD.INI was my problem.  Thanks again.
