I have a session with 14 tracks that are stereo. These are all of my songs for the cd. I have a buss with ozone on it and all tracks are going to it. I want to export each song for cd burning on another computer. When I do the normal export audio with all my preferred settings they all come out the same size and length based on the longest song. What should I do to get them to export at their original length and still have the ozone?

Just to clarify, you have a project with 14 audio tracks and wish to export them individually? I think the only way to do this is do each track separately (highlight the track, then chose File->Export Audio). You can keep "Entire Mix" selected (it will only export the selected track(s) prior to opening that export dialog).
 
To my knowledge, I do not believe you can export tracks as separate wav files (it only asks you for one name on export).
 
Edit: I take that back. Page 174 of the Reference Guide (X3) talks about exporting tracks, it is under Utilities->Burn Audio CD.
 
Of course I edit this without reading your version first. The X2 reference guide is here (page 172).

So, the length of the exported clip depends on the selection before exporting. If the tracks are imported as clips of various lengths, selecting the clips before exporting them should set your selected range identically to the length of the clip.
 
Then, when you export, the length should be the same as the clips your were starting with.
 
If your clips are all the same length, but have silence at the beginning or the ends, then you will have to find another way to select the correct time range. One method would be to use markers.
 
I use File > Export > Audio when exporting to Wave files.

I wonder what CD burning software the OP is using?

This is the problem, and one I ran I to myself. When you use Export/Audio you are able to select an option to export a file for each track separately (or bus, or entire mix). But the exported length wll be the same for all tracks and be equal to the length of the entire selection, typically the longest track. There is no way I know of to tell sonar "set the length of each exported track to the length of the original track". So you need to export one track at a time, or clean up the empty space on your tracks later.

If you click on each track, this will set the start and end times to the limits of that clip. Then use shortcut keys to be efficient - hold ALT and click F E A. This is the best way I have found to do this efficiently.

The export length of the resulting files will be the same as the selected region in Track View.
 
When there is no selected region, it will be the full length of the project.
 
Selecting the specific clip sets the selected range to the length of the selected clip.
 

Don't leave a blank space. Drag the end of your clip until it's next the start of the following clip. Highlight that clip, and it'll render just that section.

Also hand in track view, you can shift click on things to set focus to various envelopes or shift click the clip header to set focus on the clip itself. The current item in focus is in the left hand side track header so you know which envelope has the focus if you aren't sure.

Use Wave Lab or any proper mastering software. I even think the free version of Audcity has an efx bin. To me using Sonar to master is like using Excel to write a word document.

When I select the clip and not just the track it works like it should. Thanks for the responses. I hope this will help someone else. Turns out it was just a loose nut behind the screen like always........
