The more we customize the forum software the longer it takes to apply updates as the vendor releases them, we'll spend time on customizing it once the software is more stable, reliable and predictable under load.
 
1) You haven't customized anything in IIS like host headers.
2) Have you followed APG's recommendations in customizing IIS for other platforms such as android, I'm just wondering if host headers is the issue....

Thanks for sharing, but its not host headers. We keep the forum partitioned on it's own server and we're not injecting any custom headers or using host headers for mapping, its just plain old port 80 - *
 
I'm not on kitkat yet but I get the same disappearing footer on my android device w/chrome. Both here and on aspplayground.net's official forum.  

With Android you can't even navigate page (not just a trivial footer/signature issue) since the upgrade.. It's basically broken.
 
Q- Thread now states fixed but isn't the situation still ongoing as you've explaned? Confused...

At least there is a workaround for android.... Install Firefox...
