Paulo, did you try what I did in my previous post by using the Normal project template? Also, what version are you using? Producer?
No, I was just opening a Sonar demo project with all the tracks/clips already in it. I've just tried creating a new one as you did with random audio dragged from media library and in that I can reproduce what you did where all the waveforms become the same colour, but only after I change the colour of the highlighhted track waveform and I can then go back and change the others individually and as you say altering the track colour then does not affect the waveform. That is a workaround of sorts I guess, but something I would have to do for every project which is a bit tiresome.
What I was really hoping for was a way to make ignoring track colours the default mode for X3 (X3d producer btw) so that it just takes the waveform colours from the inbuilt default settings. A set it and forget it type option .
