I think you've nailed the Celtic feel Tim. Nice choice of instruments and well produced all round. I'm with Lynn on the abrupt ending, a nice fade or rit. would have brought me back to reality with a bit less of a jolt. I really enjoyed the listen, thanks for sharing this one.

Boy those guitars and mandola? sure have a grrrreat tone. Up front without being overbearing at all. The flute/pennywhistle? shines as well.

On your violin that pops in and out for a lead, are you running that through a chorus of some kind? Just wondering, 'cause for me it stood out as effected in an otherwise 100% organic mix. As an older commercial once said, "You make the call!"
 
I'd also vote for an alternate ending, maybe a ritard where it just  . . . winds . . . . down. As it is, it sounds like the police just showed up, and everybody dropped their instruments and ran! :)
