Hi Everyone,

Some good tunes and songs being posted on here these days the quality is very high. Well someone has to break the mould so may as well be me

Here's my latest creation, which I was on the verge of deleting but decided to stick at it and complete the tune. Hope you all enjoy.

Hi Adrian,

Nothing wrong with Distant Storm dood...

It's a good dancey tune

Well worth the effort you have put in to complete it, but I know what you mean. I dropped my M81 tune last year as a waste of time, but then revisited it earlier this year and totally changed it, for the better... I rarely delete anything...

cheers

Thanks for the listen Andy. I'm slowly getting into the mindset of not deleting anything and exporting bits that don't fit what I am working on as midi clips for use in later compositions.

That's a great idea Adrian, and I should do the same myself

Interesting tune, mix works relatively well here, may be in the third section a tad to much reverb on the background pad, but what would I know.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Wookiee, I do take all feedback constructively so your comment is more than valid.

Glad you didn't delete it.  I thought it was pretty good!

FWIW, the instrumentation does have a "distant storm" feel to it IMO, so it works!

Mix-wise, perhaps a touch of verb on the percussion (and maybe guitar) just for more "wetness"?   Subjective and all.
