What the Theme editor needs, however, is a function that shows a graphic representation of the GUI, you mouse click on a part of that graphic representation, and it locates that element in the object tree.

That would be huge. Great idea. A true must have! Likely a huge pita for the bakers, though...

My custom platinum theme...

Maybe you upload it somewhere so that I can download it? This is the first time I was really attracted by a custom theme posted on this forum. I know others have created and posted quite nice themes, but I never felt I wanted to own them. I really want to own this one. It reminds me of Sonar 2.2 that I used for many years.

I use the custom theme that mixes the dark Tungsten background with the lighter Mercury buttons.  I do miss the colored channel strips though.

I got my new PC back in the summer, 27 inch main monitor, upgraded to Platinum at the same time and still can't believe how wonderful Tungsten looks. Certainly can spot the difference compared to X2, where I came from. Does the job for me!

I'm using Mercury with minor mods to some icons and a different set of default clip foreground colors that match 10 of the 24 colors available in the track color picker. Wholesale changes in color schemes throw me off, and nothing I've seen (or tried to do myself) beats the subtle color gradient of the 'Mercury Blue' highlights. Probably the most tempting of the alternatives for me would be the 'Polar Blue' theme that keeps this. I prefer lighter themes and cooler colors in general.

The Theme Editor is a highly welcomed feature for me.

I didn't creat a whole theme but changed a lot of items, like MSR buttons, FX Rack, Pro Channel pre / post, etc. to make them more distinguishable for me and easier to catch the different states of a button at a glance.

Here is an example of what works really well for me:

The Console View is my main view during mixing and these little changes already improved my workflow because now I can see faster i.e. which plug-in is enabled, disabled or in focus/selected or which channel is muted, soloed, etc..

Only little things and of course not everyone has the needs to do this, but for me, having the ability to personalise my workspace a bit more, is much appreciated!

Best,
Klaus

Don't have much time at the moment but I'm happy with the Tungsten theme.

I find there's enough time now wasted always updating everything with out yet another distraction.
I haven't even downloaded the app because even that is time wasted I could (should)  be making music.

I use Outland144k's Tiffany Blue Theme, to which I made slight modifications to test out the editor.
Been sticking to it since and I like it a lot, especially when working long sessions.
Cheers.
