The second one has the CE added; listen to the various elements I pointed out and you'll hear the difference. Probably the reason for the higher average RMS level in the second one is because the Trim is introducing distortion.
 
Not sure why there would be a difference in DC offset given that the clip was cloned, unless the CE reduces DC offset.
