All,

I updated to X3d yesterday (Producer).  I was working on a project yesterday, saved it, etc., and it was working fine.  Today (after closing out Sonar and a reboot), I can't get the project to start (the Audio Engine won't start).  Other projects work fine.

One thing I would like to try is to re-scan my audio devices, but I do not recall how to do that.  Several weeks ago, I remember reading that if you hold down a key combo while opening Sonar, it will rescan.  Anyone recall that key combo?

Any other ideas?  I have no other system changes.  Let me know if you need any more information.

Thanks,

Paul

Hello

1) Please RESET and RESCAN your plugins.

If no joy....

Please close Sonar, and could you please try renaming your AUD.INI file (search you C drive for the file).
Once you are back in you may need to put in your preferences again (before you continue with projects).

Failing that I'd install the latest audio drivers for your interface. The issue is definitely project specific but this still may help...

Thanks

Thanks for the extremely quick response.  Rescanning the plugins and removing the AUD.ini file worked.  Much appreciated!

hello,

I have the same problem with Sonar X3. During playback the audio engine stops.

Do you mean to "default" the plug-ins by "resetting" them please?

with best regards, MFAP
