Don't expect any journalist to say something like
This is better or as good as Pro Tools....They fear they would be laughed out the business.
I remember when DTP publishers were using Quark as the industry standard. I noticed that version 2 of InDesign was a far better product, totally KILLED Quark. When suggesting it might be time for a change they just laughed at me. 3 years later they were all using it (Quark a distant memory).
Cake does not have a Pro Tools killer yet, but give it time.
Moral of the story.... Perceptions are more important than facts, at least for some people...
