  • Does the search function on this forum work at all anymore?

The search function wasn't the greatest but at least it worked before.
With the forum update earlier today (12/18/13), even a search for sonar shows no results found.
WTF?

Use Google, and enter search terms with the following preface:

site:forum.cakewalk.com

After the above enter your search terms, like

site:forum.cakewalk.com x3d plugins

or

site:forum.cakewalk.com x3d video

Hope that helps, (there are other kinds of ways that work, but I just do the above and it works well enough for me)

Alex, you seem to take time to think before typing, that's why I beat you to the punch.

Try it without actually reading the original posts - you'll be as fast as the rest of us, hee hee.

At least the search function's behaviour is consistent now.  In software update terms, this is an improvement

The problem with searching with google is you can't restrict the search to titles only, nor to a specific forum, as in every other forum I've ever accessed.

So if you're looking for info on the A800-PRO for example, you'll get all posts in which someone has this string in their system specs in their signature.

I've got to believe someone purposefully disabled the advanced search function.
