Hi all,
I just got Sample Logic Cyclone useing the Kontakt 5 free player.  All Patches work in X2a Producer except one.  It's a multi patch called Keep Hope Alive.knm.  When I call up that patch It kills X2a.  I get no sound and X2a becomes unresponsive.  I have to close X2a with Task Manager, and when I go to relaunch X2a It won't Launch.  I have to re-boot my system.
I can call up the patch Keep Hope Alive.knm in Stand alone mode and it works just fine, so I know the patch is not corrupted.  It kills X2a every time so it's got something to do with X2a.  I recall someone else had a similar problem with another vst but I can't seem to find it.

I think I've seen this one before.  Try inserting a limiter (e.g., Concrete Limiter, Boost 11) on the track before selecting the patch.  This one overloads your sound driver until you get it under control.

Exactly same symptoms as described by the OP.
 
Anyone know anything about this ?.
The multi "Keep Hope Alive" in Cyclone just kills Sonar - tried X1,X2, X3c, x3d, and the patch play perfectly in stand alone Kontakt 5.
 
Ahh, may be time to run service center.
